This zopim javascript doesn't work for your new javascript chat code which starts with:

How should I modify?

!-- Start of tablecamp Zendesk Widget script -->

/**/
window.zEmbed || function (e, t) {
var n, o, d, i, s, a = [], r = document.createElement("iframe");
window.zEmbed = function () {
a.push(arguments)
},
window.zE = window.zE || window.zEmbed,
r.src = "javascript:false",
r.title = "",
r.role = "presentation",
(r.frameElement || r).style.cssText = "display: none",
d = document.getElementsByTagName("script"),
d = d[d.length - 1],
d.parentNode.insertBefore(r, d),
i = r.contentWindow,
s = i.document;
try {

Hi Cem,

You will need to wrap the JS APIs in zE.function for it work with the Web Widget.

There is another post about this here: https://chat.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115006436307/comments/115003643267

If I set the visitor details, it does appear in the agent's chat window as expected. But if that user opens the chat from another browser / device, even if I set the same user details, in the agent's chat window it doesn't show the details of the previous chat sessions. Is there any ways to make the system understand that those are the same users and fetch their chat history properly?

Hi Akhil,

Sounds like you want authenticated visitors and there is an early access program for it here: https://chat.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000753167-Early-Access-Authenticated-Visitors-in-Chat-Widget

This will sync the user identity across devices and browsers.

Thanks,

Ramin
