    Hi there, can you follow these instructions and let me know how it goes (its a restriction on Wix's end)

    ------

    To add the Zopim widget to Wix

    1. Log into Wix.
    2. Click Edit Site.
    3. Click Add.
    4. Paste the following code snippet in the HTML Settings window that appears:

    <!DOCTYPE html>

    <html>

    <body>

    Insert Zopim Widget or Web Widget Snippet here

    </body>

    </html>

    1. Note: To find your Zopim embed code, see this article.
    2. Resize the HTML box to about twice its original size. Ensure that the width needs to be larger than 300px and height needs to be larger than 400px to accommodate the open chat window.
      1. Ensure that the widget is inside the footer, the footer is set to fixed/frozen, and the HTML widget has the switch turned on to show on all pages.
    3. Inside of the Wix Editor, click ‘Publish’ in the top bar to push the widget live to your website.

    Yes, despite the very patient help received by the chat customer service person, the Wix site appears to be too restrictive.     Maybe I can copy my site over to weebly or other option.

    Hi Tamara, sorry to hear that you are having trouble with Wix. I have heard good review and flexibility from our customers using Wordpress, maybe you can try them out. I personally use Squarespace but it has a monthly subscription associated with it (worth it in my mind).

    Hi Vincius,

    What do you mean when you say Chat does not work? I just retested it in a Wix test site and the Web Widget with Chat is working correctly.

    If the chat window is getting cut off, it looks like its because you havent set the correct height and width for the iframe as described in my earlier comment. If the Chat option is not available, ensure that the logged in agent is online and within the operating hours schedule.

    If you are still having trouble getting it to work, please email chat@zendesk.com and somebody from the advocacy team will help you out.
